WA: First holiday fatality for WA

Western Australia has recorded its first fatality of the holiday period with the death
of motorcyclist overnight.

A police spokesman says a 32-year-old man was killed instantly when he crashed his
motorbike into a tree at Karridale near Augusta in the state's southwest about midnight
(WST).

The spokesman says he failed to negotiate a bend on Bushby Road and lost control.
