Qld: Man terrorising Brisbane shop assistants

Police are searching for a man believed to be responsible for fondling several female
shop assistants in inner-Brisbane over the last year.

Police say the man had asked attendants at female clothing stores in Brisbane's CBD
and in the wider Brisbane area to select or try on an item of clothing for his girlfriend
or female friend.

He allegedly indecently assaults the women under the guise of adjusting the clothing.

The first incident was reported late last year.

Police have launched Operation Tennessee in a bid to catch the offender.

He is of Asian appearance .. in his early 20s .. about 170cm tall .. with a medium
stocky build .. and has occasionally been seen dressed in business attire .. and holding
a motorcycle helmet.
