Qld: Man 'set cars alight' in front of ex's house

A man's expected to appear in a Brisbane court today .. accused of setting fire to
two cars outside his ex-partner's house.

Police say witnesses saw a man standing watch over a burning car before he set a second
car alight in front of a home in Brighton .. in Brisbane's north .. last night.

Dog squad officers later found a 38-year-old man allegedly in possession of a fuel tin.

He'll face the Sandgate Magistrates Court .. charged with arson and using a telecommunications
device to threaten or harass.

Police allege he sent a threatening text message to his ex-partner.
